Meet the APBS Team, Part 2!

Over the next several installments of Views from the Valley, we’ll continue introducing some newer APBS employees. Join us as we learn more about them!

Name: Olivia Bakeman

Role at APBS: Sales Consultant. My job is to connect with luxury home builders and tell them about Andersen’s high end products to complement their homes.

How long have you worked at APBS? I joined APBS in February 2023.

How did you get into this line of work? Prior to this role I worked in consultive, marketing, and product sales positions. I began my search for a company that had values I could align myself with, but also had the track record to prove it and then I found Andersen.

What knick knacks do you keep on your desk?  On my desk I have a candy stash, some trinkets from my travels to Japan, and some Caribbean islands. I keep a bottle of shells from every beach I’ve been on.

Favorite hobby: In my free time I really enjoy Pilates or aerial yoga.

Favorite travel spot: I love Kyoto, Japan.

Favorite food: I am a foodie and try everything, but my favorite is a home cooked ramen bowl with all the toppings!

Chase Mueller

Name: Chase Mueller

Role at APBS: I service and install all types of Andersen windows and doors for our customers.

How long have you worked at APBS? I started with APBS in December of 2022.

How did you get into this line of work? I have always had an affinity for the building process. I worked as a finish carpenter previously and Andersen has given me the opportunity to continue my career in the residential construction sector.

What is the coolest or weirdest thing you’ve ever seen on a jobsite? The coolest thing I have seen at a jobsite was a mobile iced coffee truck that was selling made to order coffee!

Fun fact about you: I am an avid outdoorsman.

Favorite hobby: It is tough to choose my one favorite hobby. Some of my favorites are hiking, kayaking, and reading.

Favorite book: My favorite book is John Steinbeck’s ‘Of Mice and Men’

Favorite Andersen product / line: My favorite Andersen product is the Heritage line. I think the aluminum frames look great.

Your Andersen dream house: If I were given the opportunity to build my dream house I would pair the Heritage line with the E-Series line.

Stay tuned to meet other APBS employees in August!

Recently Seen: Contractor Coalition Summit

Would you rather build a modern home or a traditional home?

This was one of the many questions asked at the opening event at this year’s Contractor Coalition Summit in Scottsdale, Arizona.

This is Andersen’s third time sponsoring the bi-yearly event, a three-day conference hosted by Construction2Style, NS Builders and AFT Construction.

“Sponsoring the summit enabled us to further engage with custom builders across the country," said Carleigh Silvers (Steele), APBS sales consultant. "Having been hosted in Scottsdale, it was a fantastic opportunity to connect with builders local to Arizona and not only introduce them to the Andersen portfolio but further share our services at Andersen Professional Building Services.”
