Meet the APBS team, part 7!

Over the next several installments of the Views from the Valley newsletter, we’ll continue introducing some APBS employees. Join us as we learn more about them!

Name: Carleigh Steele

Role at APBS: Sales consultant — I work directly with custom home builders by helping them select the right Andersen window and door package for each of their jobs. This includes reviewing plans, putting together quotes and finalizing orders.

How long have you worked at APBS?
4.5 years

How did you get into this line of work? My dad has worked for Andersen for over 20 years so I guess you could say its runs in the family :)

What kind of music do you listen to while you work? Country music is my favorite.

Fun fact about you: I played professional golf for 5 years before working at Andersen.

Favorite hobby: Hanging with my family — I have two kids (2-year-old girl and 5-month-old boy) and they are the absolute best and just so much fun!

Favorite food: Mexican

Name: TJ Chacon

Role at APBS: Sales Consultant

How long have you worked at APBS?
3 years

How did you get into this line of work? I’ve worked in sales for over 12 years and have always wanted to work for Andersen. Whenever I would see positions become available I would submit a resume, and finally this position came my way and it was offered to me, and I wasn’t going to let it pass me by.

What kind of music do you listen to while you work? I love most music, but I mostly listen to hip-hop, hard rock and alternative electric music.

Fun fact about you: I am an enormous comic book nerd. I have been collecting comics and collectibles since I was 9, and have created an extremely large collection. When I have big meetings or work events I typically always have something comic-related on me.

Favorite hobby: If I am not spending time with my kids, then I am working out in the gym or doing something physical.

Favorite restaurant: Richardson’s on 16th and Bethany is the best restaurant. It is New Mexican cuisine.

Favorite Andersen product: The Heritage line to me is amazing. It’s beautiful and functions at such a high level.

Stay tuned to meet other APBS employees in June!

2024 home design trends

If you’ve been past any new construction homes in the past year, you might have noticed a couple of things: Windows and doors are trending bigger, outdoor living spaces are becoming increasingly sophisticated, and barn-shaped homes are rising. But the homes themselves are trending smaller. Check out six design trends for 2024 — from corner windows to outdoor-in living — and how you can get the look by downloading this guide.
